CFSAN Food Labeling Training Program This program has been designed by CFSAN to train US foreign post officers who need to respond to inquiries on US food labeling. The content explains general labeling issues, acceptable language for making claims and certain health messages on labels, allergen labeling, nutrition labeling exemptions including small business exemptions, nutrition labeling formats including bilingual labeling, and other essential information to help manufacturers and importers become fully informed before they offer foods for distribution in the United States.
